How to request money on Facebook Messenger app | simple steps.

Well, you may have already know about this, but if not then we'll let you know that Facebook Messenger has a useful tool which enables you to ask your friend for money directly from the app. Yes, with the app, I mean the messenger app.

But how will do that? It's a straightforward as the facebook owner has get everything set, you'll only need to add a debit card.

Adding a card allows Messenger to deposit and withdraw money to and from your checking account. Transfers may take up to five business days to process.

Sending and receiving money is a free service in Messenger, and Facebook does not collect any fees.

Messenger payments are currently only supported in the US.

Request money on Facebook Messenger app

1. On your Android or iPhone, Open the Facebook Messenger app tap on the conversation between you and the person you want to request money from.

• If you are having trouble finding your previous conversation, or have never contacted them on Facebook Messenger before, you can start a new conversation by tapping the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of your screen and typing in the person's name.

2. Once you have the conversation open in Messenger, tap the icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen that resembles four dots arranged in a square shape.

3.  Tap on "Pay or Request." In pop-up menu that will appear at the bottom of the screen.

4. Now, Type in the amount of money you want to request. You can also include a note. Once you've filled out the pertinent information, tap "Request."

Your payment request will now appear in your conversation with the person who you requested money from. However, your payment request will expire after seven days, and you can't control whether or not the person will actually respond to your request.

Do it like this anytime you want to request payment it's as simple as that.
