Opera Mini update provides support for offline file sharing

Opera Software released an update on the Opera Mini internet browser to allow offline browsing file sharing.

The primary concept behind the new function is to allow users to send documents even if there is no link to the Internet.

Opera hopes that Opera Mini consumers will utilize the fresh built-in approach to share and upload traditional file services or procedures like email and cloud storage.

One of the primary benefits is that the function does not require any Internet bandwidth when sending and receiving documents.

Wi-Fi was chosen by Opera Software. One of the primary reasons why Wi-Fi has been chosen is that it provides higher transfer speed than Bluetooth.

Opera Mini establishes a safe private network connection between devices using Opera Software’s direct Wi-Fi connection.

First time a user is willing to share a file with Opera Mini he/she need to allow access to storage.

A list of files is displayed on the File Sharing interface, which is available to user with a tap on Menu> File Sharing. Recent, Music, Video, apps, images, archives, paperwork, PDF and others files are sorted into tabs.

A short tap shows possibilities to open each file on a scheme that is suitable for verifications. Each file has its name and location. On the other side, a long tap on a file or a file brings it to the queue. Without leaving your queue, you can add several files and even switch between the various file groups.

Opera Mini’s File Share function does not provide system-wide file browser access; the extension supports only popular file formats and storage places and does not search for a file rapidly. Whilst that would cover many instances of use, sophisticated users would like to have more control over the function and most users would like to use the file sharing tool for the search.
