WhatsApp dark mode Will be Ready Shortly.
WhatsApp's long-awaited dark mode is almost ready for release, with files hidden in the new beta release, and the parent company of #WhatsApp, #Facebook is said to have shut down plans to add advertisements to your conversations. WABetaInfo, which specializes in tearing downWhatsApp beta releases to find signs of future apps, has discovered some new assets in the latest release that demonstrate just how close the new dark mode is to completion.
We already know that there are likely to be two different dark modes, optimized for different screens, and will feature icons specifically designed for viewing against black and gray wallpapers. Some beta testers have even managed to get an early peek at the new design thanks to a simple trick involving the app's built-in video player.
The last discovery is small but shows that the developers are finalizing the test now before launching dark mode. Alerts containing valuable safety information in dark gray bubbles are shown in yellow text-a slight change that shows that the team is happy with most of the new design.
In our recent post, Facebook, the parent company of WhatsApp, facebook has opted to cancel plans to include advertising in your talks. Facebook has, as reports in The Wall Street Journal, broken up a team that worked to build ads in conversations. WhatsApp's Status feature (which functions much like Facebook and Instagram) will be introduced into announcements by the company later this year, but it seems as though the group chats are still uncorrupted.
Other updates expected in 2020 include the ability for small businesses to view their inventory in the app, essentially turning it into a mini-store and enabling orders to be placed directly, but I hope that the next new addition we will see will be dark mode.
